Man In The Moon Poem by Juan Olivarez

Man In The Moon

The man in the moon has gone away.
I heard he moved to mars.
He said that he just couldn't stay,
He was going to see some stars.

He packed his green cheese, and caught a train,
And headed for the Milky Way.
He said the moon had too much rain,
He wished he could, but he couldn't stay.
