Man's....Religion.....Shall Have....No Place Poem by James B. Earley

Man's....Religion.....Shall Have....No Place

....If there is......indeed a Heaven
Man's religion shall have no place...
Nor hypocrites nor earthbound bigotry
....No superior........sacred race

Might it be......a blatant travesty.....
Hijacked...in fact...the name of God
....Man's religion....some bogus decision
Deceptive veneer a mere facade

Precluding...the Church of many waters
....Ocean rivers streams and lakes
Mountains deserts hills and valleys
.....Where Nature bids.....the soul awake

Singular Cathedral of God's own making
....Built by Her....or His own hands
'Tis the Church of varied faces
.....Races.....places...distant lands

No hypocrites...no earthbound bigotry
.....No...superior....sacred race
If indeed there is a Heaven......
Man's religion.....shall have no place
