Man-Woman Poem by Edwina Reizer

A man can be lonely and silence his thoughts
And never say aloud
How down and out he is feeling
because he is too proud.

But a woman does not silence what she feels
And unashamed she will say
How down and out she is feeling
because it is her way.

Oh how different the sexes are
And yet they are the same.
So different in how they express themselves
And neither can we blame.

For God has purposely seen to this
And knows it's for the best.
It gives the chance to both sexes
to balance love's quiet quest.
