Many A Day Has Passed, Vol2 Poem by Matloob Bokhari

Many A Day Has Passed, Vol2

Poem title: Many a Day Has Passed
Poet Matloob Bokhari
Country: Pakistan
Many a day has passed
I have not seen you, O fairer than the brightest bloom
We have not walked in the garden to enjoy the scent of roses and chirping birds and to commune with the nature
Many a day has passed
I have not listened your songs which healed my deepest wounds
Many a day has passed
We have not stood by the window and watched the rain
Many a day has passed
We have not walked under the pouring sky
Many a day has passed
We have not bathed under the full moon
Many a days have passed
We have not helped the helpless
Many a day has passed
I am dreaming a dream
That calms my mind, heals my heart, mends my worries
Many a day has passed
I have said good bye to you
But I have not said good bye to our fondest thoughts
Our memories and moments that made us laugh and cry are unforgettable
