Maple, Lady and Moon Poem by Reynaldo Casison

Maple, Lady and Moon

Rating: 5.0

Maple tree,
Bare and blue,
In autumn

The lady with the lovely face,
Is tending her irises,
By the light
of the midnight moon,
The wind loves her hair,
As much as it loves you,

Maple tree,
Bare and blue,
In autumn

The lady with the lovely face,
Is bare with a lovely hue,
Of blue singing in her eyes,
Starry autumn sky

The wind loves her hair,
As much as she loves you,
Bare and blue,
There's a bliss,
in her solemn gardens

The lady with the lovely face,
Is tending her irises,
With her love in the midnight moon,

Her hair dances,
As her irises dance,
Bare and mellow blue,
As their lovely faces,
Bow in the midnight moon,
Grace and shimmer of stars

Maple tree,
Bare and blue,
In autumn,
Kissed by the violin wind,
The hair of a lovely lady,
And her irises
