Maples Leaves In Fall Poem by Raymond Farrell

Maples Leaves In Fall

The chlorophyll
Which sustains their life
Is breaking down
But in their death throes
The maple leaves
Are most glorious
Coloring the valley below
And escarpment beyond
In broad swathes
Of vivid oranges
And reds.
