Maria - Poem by Lyndon Murray
Maria, my love for thee is great.
You have an endless grace
every time I look at your face.
You are my inspiration and my joy.
I love your beautiful black hair that blows in the wind,
the light-brown eyes, and your tender touch.
You have a touch of class for such a beautiful lass.
Maria, you are so spontaneous and carefree,
you are just the woman for me.
As we kiss and caress under the coconut tree,
there stands in the distance,
a blue horizon with the setting sun,
like moment frozen in time.
The cool Caribbean breeze courses through our skin.
With beating heart and fleeting breath,
My heart grows fonder with wonder for thee each day.
As we frolic in the sand and we walk hand in hand
We carry all our hopes and dreams before us.
