Maria's Secret - Poem by Joyce Hemsley
Maria's poems were unique in style
With beautiful lines ~ hearts to beguile.
She seldom mentioned 'Thee and Thou'
As long years ago she made a vow:
To quietly pray in the lonely nights
When the phrase 'Thee and Thou'
Would float up to the heights...
And on the morrow, she would feel free
To write more beguiling poetry.
