'Martina' Poem by Joyce Hemsley

'Martina'

Rating: 5.0

Forty words:

Obsessed within a fantasy
Where wise men seldom go
He felt the vital urgency
To be Martina's beau.
His heart and soul were spellbound
Reality said 'no'
But sweeping negatives aside
He sang love's melody divine
'Martina' made it so.
