Marriage - Poem by Seema Chowdhury

I want to be a listener
Of all your troubles dear
I want to be a reflector
Of love, happiness and cheer
And want to be a supporter
In whatever you do
And bring you back
Bright colours and hues
That are all missing
From your life
Because my dear
I want you to survive
In all odds and evens
And all troubled days
That life shows you
And throw in your ways
Because that's what is marriage
Expects from our lives
When we join our hands
And become husband and wife.
