Marry Me Poem by Randy McClave

Marry Me

I stood on my feet
I straightened out my clothes,
Then I got my confidence together
As I prepare to propose.

With a ring in my pocket
And roses in my hand,
I am now preparing my future
Our tomorrow is now planned.

I want her as my partner
I want her as my mate,
Together hand in hand we will travel
Upon every road and upon entering every gate.

I fell on my hands
Then I fell on one knee,
Then I asked her
Will you please marry me.
