Mary Of Nazareth Poem by james watkin

Mary Of Nazareth

To mother the one, whom had
The whole creation fathered
Your burden of crowns, measureless.
Of Heaven and Hell conferred.

One cut, like unto sky-bands
Of an undimmed exalting.
One, of a dark hour's compression.
Sorrow-weighed; an iron ring.
