It seems that Melbourne has seen the light
And little green men at crossings just weren't right
So they have been retired and men have been replaced
With cut out shapes of Mary Poppins to be placed
It seems a committee has decided for everyone
That this had to b a priority to be straight away done
At pedestrian crossings in the city on the roads
When crossing streets in pedestrian mode
The signs now have become cutting edge
In the war of the sexes there is a pledge
For non-discriminatingtraffic lights
So oppression is off the menu as it might.
