Marylou Marylou,
I love you,
I called softly as I spotted her,
Pink and blue in flight;
She smiled at me and then came close;
The perfume it smelled white.
She said I want to come so close,
Close to you like a breath,
Dance around you, captivate;
In little drops of faith.
Marylou Marylou, why don’t you,
Stay back and just be free,
We will gather flowers and dews,
If you will stay with me.
To which she said with a little smile,
And tiny drops of tears,
I wish that I could stay with you,
But I cannot, I fear.
The skies and trees and little bees,
The forests and the moon;
They need the rain that I can give,
But I will come back soon.
So said Marylou, as she wafted by,
And send me drops as kiss;
I wait for her to pass through by,
In love’s eternal bliss.
