Greater than nature we pretend to be
No idea if we create, monsters or god
In front of a mirror we revel in our own vanity
Arrogance's bait becomes a fool's facade
Broken puzzle parts we piece together
making a gown to cover ignorance's nakedness
A blind tailor sewing a suit of frog hair and leather
in dreams from which nothing will awaken us
Three breasted chickens, chocolate udders on a cow
dig holes in earth's skin, paint the sky brown
breed boneless fish, a cholesterol free sow
mercurial paint makes a smile out of a frown
Searching for a black hole with dime store glasses
a diaper holding our used up mistakes
changed daily we sit with red asses
knowing faith or knowledge both are fakes
