May It Be Poem by Samuel Segun Toluwalase

May It Be

Rating: 5.0

Under the evening sky
When all earth sleep away
When the heat of day sways to the cold of the night
When the hills and mountains bow before the clouds
When the darkness lit the light up
When the star gaze below
May it be that it be safe for my body and soul

On the verge of the river
As I go in
In my room on the big large ship
Above the wide sea fish
Let my soul rest in bliss
Am travelling now let me return in peace
May it be well with me and all that read
