Maybe If Poem by Sabrina Brown

Maybe If

Maybe if I dressed differently you wouldn't pay attention to me
Or how about black eyeliner
Hair spiked up
Would you even notice me?
The real me
Black nail polish
The shorts with chains
You think it's funny
But honestly you don't care
I know
You wouldn't be the first one
You like me cause of my outfits
Makes me look girly
Real curly
Ha-ha
IM NOT FAMOUS
Don't wanna be used
For fame
Maybe those games
I don't play no more
Many different personalities
The mean one
The cute one
The what's your name one?
Be real
No the real me, I'm just saying
