Maybe one day you will be feeling sad
From friends treating you bad,
With bumps and bruises on your body and soul
Which caused you to ignore your ultimate goal.
Maybe you'll remember how others you badly treated
Or how you were used and spiritually defeated,
And how you were tricked and also used
And how you lied, broke promises, and falsely accused.
Maybe you will remember how you once was
You smoked and drank and you also took drugs,
And no one ever put you on a pedestal
They wanted you as a lover and a giver, but never as marital.
Maybe you'll remember the time that you needed care
And only I was the only one there,
When everyone else had forgotten about you
And they never cared what they did say or do.
Maybe one day you will be all alone and crying
Because, of your guilt and sin and your emptiness and lying,
Then you'll see your own walked and chosen path
And then at you the devil will laugh.
You will never get the life you truly wanted and dreamed
You will never ever feel clean or redeemed,
One day that time will most assuredly come
And of course you will be ignored and forgotten by some.
I treated you good way back then
I didn't care where you came from and where you had been,
And for you I would had done anything
In my back pocket I had kept a diamond ring.
When you are old with gray hair and wrinkled skin one day
And no one is there to listen to what you might say,
Maybe only then will you truly and finally see
Maybe one day, you will then remember me.
