Maybe one day we'll meet again
Though God only knows the time when,
Maybe when we both are old and gray
Maybe then will be that day.
Maybe one day we'll explain what really did transpire
As at each other we remember and stare,
Then we'll think of all the days that came and gone
And with a smile, we might remember just one.
Maybe one day we'll finally understand
That it all was already planned,
Never did I have a chance to call you wife
Until then I hope you to live your very best life.
Maybe one day we will see each other and meet
As friends and not as strangers on the street,
And I truly hope all of your dreams had come true
And I hope you achieved the things that you always wanted to do.
Maybe one day that day will come
And then we'll see what each other had become,
And if you happen to see the tears in my eyes
You'll understand how I remembered you as a great prize.
