With all there is
There’s so little to gain
Whats the difference
Besides the fame

You and I
We’re exactly the sane
Two people on the world
Playing this game

This game called life
Embody our souls
We live our lives
And reach our goals

I guess i don’t know why
I’m so taken by you
Why i wake up at 5am
To write poems about you

Listening to love songs
Laying and dreaming
Where we aren’t separated
I'm just over here feening

For your beautiful face
Your radiant smile
Holding your hand
We can lay for a while

Thinking about what we could be
Knowing that it’ll probably never happen
Continue my dreaming all through the day and night
Because at least I’ll have you

I can only imagine
Maybe someday we’ll meet
Go out for a while
Two lovers on the street

But to me its all the same
Because love is universal
It knows no age or class
We all share this feeling

We all take this time
To try and find
The one we need
For the rest of our lives

And we hope and pray
That at the end of the day
We still have that one person
That we love

But You and I
Are separate for now
With life’s cruel ways
Maybe we’ll be together
Maybe someday
