Me - Poem by JJ Evendon
My mind has blown into a kaleidoscope of many coloured parts.
Everything I had known – all gone.
Even the things I didn't know I had – gone!
Where does that leave me?
Another forgotten being in the maelstrom of something called 'society'?
I doubt – for I feel a presence.
A presence so overpowering that I seek its source.
I journey in this omni-world of mine.
Embracing thought -
to become the person for whom I am – me!
