Me And That Other Old Guy



“Records are meant to be broken”, they say
Some more easily than others
Record setters who have their way
Unbroken is their druthers

The only record I hope to breach
Is Methuselah’s nine hundred years
Nine hundred one I should easily reach
Since I’m now aged and almost his peer
