Me Meth, Me Heroin, Me Cookaine Poem by J. Allen Hewitt

Me Meth, Me Heroin, Me Cookaine

Rating: 4.8

Me sweat pour over face, where are you?
Me fur stand and chills like needles on spine when you near.
Me eyes wild and blind, can only see you, but where are you?

Me hurting, burning pain searing, where are you?
Me mouth water and hands quiver when I smell.
Me bleeding, clawing me skull and face, where are you?

Me breath fails, choking and gasping, where are you?
Me feet stumble and teeth grind when you tease me.
Me madness tears apart, need me life end, where are you?

Me love cookie, but cookie not love me...Where were you? ? ?
(Addiction is NOT funny)

The additive agony of hard drugs is aptly captured in the piece. A well drafted poem. Thanks for sharing Allen.
