Me-You/You+me=... Poem by Alim Lamont

I don't remember when I realized it was you, that detail has been lost to time,
But I'm reminded everyday with thought of you on my mind,
My mind, uh oh,
See, alone, I'm only 1/2 I'll ever be but your presence presents me a present, the gift of 1 so great, you, that adds to me and my 1 over 2 making the half, whole, not necessarily 2 over 2 but two Together forming one, whole unit, unit, u-n-i....t, you and I teamwork, I dunno I'm trailing off, doing this by myself with out you to keep me grounded, my divine light in the darkness of my mind supporting and guiding me and I, you, .... I, ...you, you and I, seems like the two keep coming together you and I so let's fracture the fraction fracturing us, and be 1 whole. Cuz alone I'm just 50% and such a thing is 'fine', it's decent, ....but with your light the road is so clear and I'll be the gas that gets us there.
