Mean Spirited Woman Poem by John Gabriel

Mean Spirited Woman

Rain started coming down as she walked out the door
seems cheating on a woman is nothing to ignore
for that mean spirited woman done settled a score

She told my boss I thought his wife was an old bat
and all his kids were spoiled little brats
along with I was the one who ran over his cat

In the bedroom she left a final note for me
saying all my clothes slowly sank into the sea
and that my new car ran into a big oak tree

But then in the note I read my biggest fear
and knew how her anger was more than sincere
that mean spirited woman took all my cold beer

I felt a tear and realized right there and then
the fool I was and needed to make an amend
I needed my woman back with all my beer
