Congeniality leading to familiarity
Acquaintenance seeming like family
Then you realise we meet to part
Misunderstandings from the start
Causing untold pain in your heart
Keeping a relationship is an art

The human psychic is complex
Someone might dislike your complexion
As if you had a choice on who you are
Someone might like you from afar
When you finally meet face to face at a party
They pretend to be jovial and hearty
Be aware we meet to part

Stand at ease
A divorce
