Meeting No More Poem by Randy McClave

Meeting No More

I don't think that we will meet again
When it's time to go to the other side,
Of course only God will know exactly when
And of course, after we have died.

In Heaven I will not sit there and wait
Or be there anticipating your hopeful arrival,
I won't be their waiting at the entrance gate
With my opened arms as if a survival.

You will have been forgotten and buried
My thoughts and memories will no longer know of you,
Another place you will have been carried
From the sins that you did do.

Of course we will never meet no more
You'll become a forgotten dream that I once had,
Memories of you are of the past and the before
Now in Heaven I'll be happy and never sad.
