Mellow Moon Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Mellow Moon

Rating: 5.0

near the close of day
violet sun's turned mellow
gold rose all aglow

then peach and plums swirl
whereas blue-green day left, spent
red creeps in, silent

clouds of antique rose
where has cream butterfly gone
fireflies on the lawn

marble moon appears
glowing in seas of colors
trills undercover

Amusing Haiku Series. Sometimes I wonder if nature is that beautiful or is it made more beautiful by the poet's words and eyes. Whatever this one is very crafty haiku series. All *******
