I heard the melody of the rain, falling slanted soft on my window pane.
And all the world seemed to lose itself.
Nothing mattered not even myself.
For the rain said, feel my beauty, and today, don't worry about rivalry or envy.
And I felt so calm for this is what I sought,
Not to worry about how others did or how I did.
But then my pattering rain just flew out,
And left me with puddles and dew drops all about.
And the hot sun came out today, so my good feelings just flew away.
I will still wait for you, my pattering rain, and watch you dance on my
window pane.
And see all my troubles just stream away, to watch another happy day.
