Here we go
On a hot day in the sun
Riding a glass bottom boat
In Key West
At the southern tip
Of Florida keys.

Waves are gentle
Water's all bluish green
Standing on the bow
Feels as though
One's on top of the world
Sea breeze relaxes the soul.

We keep going
Away from the coast
Foamy waters
Keep churning behind
Distant buildings perform
Magic of vanishing act.

Boat slows down and we surround
The glass bottom gallery
Noticing coral structure at bottom
Giant sea fans flap like elephant's ears
Occasionally schools of fish are caught
In the sight of our eyes.

Bright yellow are beautiful fish
Elegant dark stripes marked
Around their bodies
Turquoise color of the ocean grows elegant
Making this afternoon journey
A memorable event in life.
