Memories
Moments can be more surprising than dreams,
it can be slow or even fast as a beam.
Some say its a vibe which occurs once in a blue moon,
that can be remembered or forgotten like prick to a ballon.
Some may sit or cry over moments to regret,
while others act very agressively and find reasons to fret.
Certain people who are shrewd say its a part of life,
barbaric people think of losing their past moments by ending their with a knife.
Life gives us chances or moments that fit,
to satisfy our desire by we acting towards it.
A few get scared to risk these chances as they think its futile,
while the rest enjoy these moments with their gift of versatile.
Moments are best if all your senses have the correct amplitude,
this can only be done if you have the right attitude.

hello malaika. your poem is nice but the fact is that it's too short and on top of that i didnt understand certain statements. like for eg the 7th line. do you mean that certain people consider memories as a part of life. but memories cannot be a part of life they are the past and past is gone. pls do submit new poems. it is interesting to have a classmate of mine on poemhunter. Your poem is really something that you have written from your inner mind and that is appreciable. keep up the good job and keep going! !

Malaika good start! just a little advice don't go extra mile on rhyming.... for a start go with blank verse and then gradually move to the rhymes. You have potential don't let it go waste.... Best
