Numb Poem by Angel Joseph

Numb

Rating: 5.0

Want to be free is my will,
but cant do anything as if i am ill.
Having legs but within cant walk,
screaming inside but yet cant talk.
I possess a dream, the only precious gift,
no feet or hands required to drift.
Only a vision which cant be a reality,
is my last possession throughout eternity.
God is the only one who knows my every feeling,
whom i can trust and is still left believing.
That my destiny is a time when everything is in place,
and i will no longer be fighting alone in this human race.
God's plan is a reward i am counting on,
that a throne full of happiness is where i will sit on.

its me again 11th line, it has to be 'everything is in place' not 'everything is at place'.

good poem but the last line has to be 'throne' and not thrown. a very motivating poem and is really understandable. poem that tells that we all usually are caught in a vicious cycle of competition and to reach the top many try to pull others down in the process. but in the end we all end up in the grave. i often wonder why people are so mad behind fame and money when they know that they wont be able to take even a single thread with them to heaven let alone their bodies even. good write, one of my favourites.
