Memories. Poem by Driss Ezzireg

Memories.

I remember the night when everything was quiet.
The low, slow sky was mute;
Looking down on city roofs:
They were quiet;
Enjoying the silence of the ambulances
That kept their patients muffled.
The stars were quiet in the vast universe.
The hearts sleeping fat were quiet.
The country dogs were quiet,
Dreaming of none.
The dreams inside minds were quiet.
The morning half awake was quiet.
And I in my chair quiet; savoring all.
Your memories above all.

Very nice. Poignant nostalgia. Can feel the emotions in lines.
