Memories Of Love - Poem by John S John

Sitting silent in your shade of love.
I have a childhood lost, forgotten not even now.
Falling asleep in your warmth for a while,
Waking me up with an angel's smile.
Stories to dine, and songs for bedtime,
Learning the words from your only rhyme,
My first footsteps to fall in your arms,
Making me smile with a lot of charms,
A walk holding your fingertips,
A kiss of love from your tender lips,
Missing the days being a child,
But always will be your loving kid.
