Memories Of Moving On - Poem by Logan Fulk

Shadows of the heart and soul
Overlap to reveal
Suppressed desire, and overwhelming lust
Of forgotten dreams and unspoken thoughts

Past still present in the future
A timeless journey to comprehend
Our struggle within
And all we’ve done without

Withering and fading
Into the shallow realm of thought
The conscious dream, the waking nightmare
Leaving the day to pursue the night

Where we stand is not where we are
We are within our beliefs
Following paths only we can see
And pursuing our dusk desires

Born as shadows at the dawn
Waiting until we rise
Our souls form our figure
Our minds create our world
