Memories Of You Poem by Ashley Dias

Memories Of You

I lay on my bed thinking of you
Once we were so in love, now we are through
I laughed at your jokes even when they were not so funny
I remember the days you used to call me honey
You always knew just what to say
You knew how to cheer me up from a very bad day

It feels different now that you are gone
Life without you is no fun
A text that's how you said goodbye
I used to be so happy Nowadays all I do is cry
I wonder if you think of me
Or if you are too busy now that you are free
I lay on my bed thinking of you
Now all I have are memories of you
