Memory Poem by Elizabeth Wheaton

Memory

I dived to get my breath but in stead I got my death
And watch my life flash before my eyes
Once more
It was the end
I was remembering
My friends laughter
When I woke
To find myself
Surrender with nurse and doctors
At this I let out
A scream
Where am I asked
When one nurse said at hospital
Sweetie have you any pain
I just looked up at her and asked what happened
And she explain.
