Memory - Poem by Scott Labbe

Well I'm the man I'd never be
If you stay
Stray from my place
Course through my heart
Breathing tube in my arm
I will never start
Leave my memory
Leave my memory
Leave my memory
I'm the man, never wanted to be
I thought it wouldn't hurt
Face first
In the dirt
She wants it to burn
Leave my memory
Leave my memory
Save me
From my memory
If they are hurt
I am dead
What's the cause of my shame
My memory
If they're in pain
I am paralyzed
What's going on with
my memory
Seen her fall
Like a child
