Memory Poem by Rowan Carpenter

Memory

Rating: 0.5

When I meet my hearts demise
I curse the sun that will rise
For the sun brings happiness and hope
And it is the opposite of what I feel
With my hands towards painless I grope
So that a tear will not from my eyes escape
My mind wrapped around the ordeal
Thinking of that act so close to rape
