9-11 Poem by Christal Carpenter

9-11

Rating: 4.8

People scream as the plane crashes into the wall
Pieces on building on fire fall
Cries of the people down bellow
Bellowing for loved ones to come out of the snow
The snow of ashes that fill your lungs
Targeting the old and young
People jump and crash to the ground
Sirens of ambulances all around
Dismembered body parts line the street
Where the vultures line to eat
The ashes from the second planes demise
Covers up the wails and cries
And as the buildings crash down
The war of the world starts around

One of the best 9/11 tribute poems i have read so far... It goes to show that age really is a number. 10+/10 Nix xoxo

Well observed and written, but only from one point of view Christal. Dig deeper and you'll find out why this awful thing happened, and why it shouldn't happen again.
