Memory, As The Past's Gatekeeper Poem by james watkin

Memory, As The Past's Gatekeeper

Memory, as the Past's gatekeeper
Turns away, who clings there
Just taunting days, self-pitying;
Back with a hurt, which stare.

Greeting these Time-faces am I
Made to feel more worthy
As agreeably smiled on, race up;
Of friends, in company.
