Men Don'T Love Girls Poem by Eli MorenoDrew

Men Don'T Love Girls

Rating: 5.0

And nor should they.
Girls are malleable and changing,
growing, expanding
but rarely constant.

Girls are fickle,
yet tend to tickle
when close enough
like kitten whiskers
but when even closer
often prickle
like mans' whiskers.

The penny arcade entertains a man
maybe for an hour, leaving him
less rich than before.

Girls see love as a game
and make sure they always lose
but never let a man win.

Women, however,
know that love is not a game
nor a war;
it is, however,
a decision that they've made
and cherish.

Girls lie to pave roads,
women lie to take breaks
from long trips
then end it and
move on.

Men don't love girls
but they do fancy them.
Viewed as nothing more than
the cutest of puppies
that requires care and food
and give little in return.

Men do love women, though.
Women care for and feed themselves
leaving the man to love
and provide for
(not out of necessity
but instead want)
a woman.
