Merely Pointless Poem by Austin Morris

Merely Pointless

War will always be found
As long as the world goes round
Whether it is because of your race,
Or just because someone was in your face
War is always the first thing in our mind
For all of those belonging to mankind
For before you know it, the War has started
Then you realize, it has already departed
Only to temporarily disappear,
For soon you will be back on the frontier
Fighting for some childish cause
Not even giving yourself a second to pause,
And ask why we are so hostile
Or if this is even worthwhile
For the War will continue, never to end
Always fighting, no attempts to befriend
