Merry Christmas Poem by Damian Dauthdaert

Merry Christmas

May times of happiness and joy fill you holidays
Even when gift wrapping might put you in a daze
Regarding the cheer and greatness of it all
Rarely is it past the time when the leaves have began to fall
You always must bring your Holiday cheer

Coming to Christmas time is part of the year
How do you know there are good times to be had?
Reunion of family it can never be bad
I know in my heart that these times are fun
So do what is right and don’t eat a ton
To be sure those good times may ensue
May your holidays be bright and your New Year’s too
As soon and the year goes by there’s resolutions to do
So may you have a wonderful time at this lovely family time

The first letters of each sentence spell out Merry Christmas
