Oskar Hansen

Mesmerized - Poem by Oskar Hansen

My teddy bear
left alone in the kitchen all night,
had its eyes stolen by a cat.
The moggy is on the terrace
looks at me with friendly eyes…like.
Big, green buttons I sewed on
my teddy bear,
it sees right through me and beyond.
This frightens me,
I cuddle the moggy now.
