Message On A Wall
I wrote a message on a wall
Not knowing that the wall would fall
And after more than 50 years
My words no longer show my tears
Those words I'd written, seemed to me
Part of my life's history
Penned when I felt that all was gone
And I closed my eyes, but soldiered on
I left my message on that wall
And now that it's gone, I can't recall
The message I left was for all to see
But now, it's only a memory
