Pouring Drought Poem by Andrei Sen-Senkov

Pouring Drought

the women who live in the city
built by the river
throw the little gifts of former lovers
into the water

the women who live in the city
where there is no river
take the little gifts of former lovers
and throw them on the ground

when it rains
god drinks them through a straw
