deep in the midnight sky
there lives a galaxy
filled with the many stars that swell up your eyes
i guess the stars burnt out
i cant see your eyes anymore
look deeply into the sunset
the rays of the golden sun, now pink
lighting up the world for all to see
i guess the sunset went to sleep
the world seems now so dark
scaring the faces of all who enter
all who descend this gentle world
embark of a journey of their lifetime
the little tear that falls down your cheek
falls onto the palm of your hand
healing the scars from which you created
behind those frightful eyes
lives a smile, waiting to come out
behind that dieing sunset
lives a world no one understands
