Midnight Celebrities Poem by Sania Meherin

Midnight Celebrities

Having cool slumber party
Having play, so muddy
You do not know
That they say Wow!
‘Cause we're midnight celebrities

Playing guitar, so hard
Singing song, may words;
Now will sun rise
And then everybody cries
And I'm like Huh?

Tonight, satin sheet, silky
Melted chocolates, so milky
Playing music, damn loud
Neighbors' awake, angry crowd
Mad at night celebrities

Dark shades under eyes
We don't sleep nights
We're with no rest
Failing the class tests
Feel so sleepy, right?

Today, Mommy caught me
Asking where I've been
And you better know
Never wanted her to know
I'm one of midnight celebrities.
