The Spotlight Sparks Poem by Sania Meherin

The Spotlight Sparks

Rating: 4.0

When the spotlight sparks
On the billboard the marks
Of my name and my sign;
The people are so crazy
Like the street-man who had wine

On the stage—my step
Fans made a crowded web,
They are waiting for me about
Hours and even when I sneeze
The group of smiley faces freak out!

A bit I hit my microphone
And from back the background shone
With big screen showing up my word,
And then the lady came towards
She handed me the precious award.

Then what? Tring! Tring! Tring!
The alarm clock's loudest ring;
I woke up with a sudden breathe
Finding myself on the bed
I was of the dreams' beneath.
